First I started by putting the raw file into Photoshop. I turned the Highlights all the way down and turned the blacks up to try bring out the freckles as much as I could. I then imported the image into photoshop and applied an unsharp mask. I turned the layer style to overlay and turned the opacity down because the effect was too much. I turned the image to black and white and turned the red and yellow down a little to bring out the freckles.
